Data Analyst with Healthcare experience - Remote
Position Responsibilities Ingest, standardize, and analyze pharmacy and medical claims and eligibility files Use exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify general patterns and outlier data points Build new and optimize existing ETL processes Engage cross-functionality to identify, prioritize and deliver data and analysis requirements Partner with stakeholders to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability; prioritize and deliver actionable insights from analytics Facilitate a data-driven approach to problem solving by increasing data accessibility across the organization via automated reports and dashboards Develop, maintain and QA an automated process to pull data and populate templates for monthly, quarterly, annual reports, including ad hoc client, sales and investor reports Present financial reports to clients and prospects Build and track effectiveness of rules identified by clinicians to generate engagement opportunities to improve member outcomes and drive savings Collaborate with Product, Engineering and marketing to monitor engagement performance, identify new product features, and measure impact Partner with external data vendors to securely transfer health data ensuring efficient and correct processing at scale. Qualifications and Skills BS in STEM or other quantitative subject (e.g. economics, finance); MS degree a plus 3 years of professional experience analyzing data, generating dashboards and reports, and providing insights derived from research to cross-functional teams 2 years of experience working with healthcare data Understands and supports business priorities Experience working with large, complex healthcare datasets Proficiency with SQL Understanding of applied statistics Ability to distill and communicate analytic results to variety of stakeholders Strong problem-solving and communication skills Ability to accurately articulate a technically complex subject matter to an audience spanning the technical competency spectrum Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, and to work independently Careful attention to detail, accuracy and deadlines with the ability to multitask on different projects Preferred Qualifications: Experience creating clear deliverables from vague requirements Experience with Python and Pandas Experience developing advanced models (i.e. machine learning, linear regression) Familiarity with working with big data and no-sql databases Familiarity with AWS and data visualization platforms like Looker,Tableau, or Sigma Computing Self-motivated, creative, curious, attention to detail Familiarity with working with source control system, e.g. Github and Github Actions Experience with presenting reports to clients and senior management Ability to create and maintain standard operating procedures for all data activities Experience with Artificial Intelligence Benefits Remote position Unlimited time off Health insurance Excellent company culture Apply Job!
