Quant Developer, Trade Execution/Equities

Quant/Trading Research Developer, Trade Execution Global financial technology industry leader has a unique opportunity for a Quant Trading Research/Development professional with extensive knowledge of trade execution and market structure in cash equities to join their growing team. The individual in this role will research and develop algo trade execution strategies and quantitative research for the cash equities markets that improve trading strategies used by traders and trading teams. This full time, hybrid role is based in the company's NY headquarters. Hands-on development expertise with C++, Java or Python is required. Responsibilities: ? Research and develop trading strategies, used by discretionary and quantitative traders. ? Conduct quantitative research on market structure and microstructure, applying knowledge to improve trading. ? Partner with cross-functional teams, including portfolio managers and researchers, to design and implement solutions for trading strategies. ? Stay current and report on changes in market microstructure. Requirements: ? Master's degree or higher in a quantitative field such as Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related discipline. ? A minimum of 3 years of experience in trade execution development or research for cash equities or futures. ? Proficiency with development languages such as Java or C++. ? Experience with market structure for the cash equities or futures markets. ? Desire to work in a collaborative, team based environment. ? Experience working in a front office role with portfolio managers and traders is strongly preferred. Base salary range: $175K-$275K Apply Job!
