About the position As a member of the produce team at Sam's Club, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our members receive high-quality and fresh fruits and vegetables at competitive prices. Your responsibilities will include maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the produce and floral areas, ensuring that all products are presented in a way that meets our high standards. You will assist members with their purchasing decisions, ensuring that all floral products are fresh, clean, and well-presented. Additionally, you will maintain the sales floor by organizing merchandise, handling claims and returns, and identifying any shrink or damages. Your commitment to safety will be paramount, as you will follow all safety standards and procedures, conducting safety sweeps and reporting any unsafe situations to management. Overall, your contributions will help create a welcoming and efficient shopping environment for our members. Responsibilities ? Cleans the Produce and Floral area, including windows, mirrors, display cases, and coolers, following company procedures and utilizing approved chemicals and tools. , ? Provides floral products and services to members by pricing, rotating, and stocking merchandise; assisting members with purchasing decisions; and ensuring merchandise is fresh and presentable. , ? Maintains the presentation and organization of the Produce and Floral Department by inspecting merchandise and removing damaged items. , ? Maintains the Sales Floor in the Produce and Floral area by handling claims and returns, zoning the area, and organizing merchandise. , ? Maintains merchandise presentation by stocking, setting up, cleaning, and organizing product displays, and securing fragile merchandise. , ? Provides Member service by acknowledging their needs, assisting with purchasing decisions, and resolving issues. , ? Receives and stocks merchandise in the Produce and Floral area, following company procedures and completing required documentation. , ? Follows company policies for preparing, handling, and storing food, and maintaining cleanliness in the Fresh Department. , ? Maintains safety by following all safety standards and reporting unsafe situations to management. Requirements ? Must be 18 years of age or older. , ?
