Ortho Dental Assistant

Schedule (days/hours): M-F 8am-4pm-3 days a week Responsibilities: ? Assist the orthodontist during procedures, including bonding, adjustments, and debonding ? Take and process digital X-rays, intraoral scans, and impressions for orthodontic treatment planning ? Place and remove orthodontic separators, bands, brackets, and archwires as directed ? Educate patients on oral hygiene, appliance care, and post-treatment instructions ? Sterilize instruments and maintain a clean, organized treatment area following infection control protocols ? Track and update patient records, chart progress, and assist in treatment planning ? Manage orthodontic supplies and maintain inventory levels ? Perform expanded functions as permitted by state law, such as coronal polishing and sealant application ? Support front office tasks, including scheduling and patient coordination when needed Qualifications: ?
