We are looking for skilled Aircraft Structures/Sheet Metal Technicians to assist with this client's production needs. The Aircraft Structures/Sheet Metal Technician is responsible for maintaining and repairing aircraft components and airframe structural supports. Essential Functions: ? Communicate when tasks are complete so the next trade can move on the job. ? Ensure the work environment is safe and clean. ? Promote company values, vision, and mission. ? Demonstrated capability and competency in field of expertise. ? Good oral and written communication skills. ? Demonstrated ability to work well with other individuals throughout the organization. ? Possesses strong fundamental aircraft knowledge. ? Builds quality capability and responsiveness for Avmax. ? Carry out maintenance repairs on customer and company aircraft under the supervision of a qualified technician or Lead A&P Technician ? Completely and accurately sign off work-in-progress documentation and work cards for work accomplished. ? Report unserviceable equipment to the assigned Lead A&P Technician and/or delegate. ? Notify the Lead A&P Technician of all defects discovered during maintenance. ? Attend training courses as directed by company management. Requirements: ? 3-5 years' experience in the field. ? Possess excellent oral and written communication skills. ? Demonstrated ability to work well with other individuals throughout the organization. ? A&P Certified is preferred, but not required.
