Job Title Contract Administrator Reporting To Manager, Contract Administration Work Schedule Hybrid – Mineral Wells, TX Our Moog Military Aircraft Group is looking for a Contract Administrator to direct and monitor all contractual activities related to meeting Moog’s performance objectives on assigned contracts. Under the direction of the Contract Administration Manager, you’ll interact with Moog and customer personnel to ensure compliance with all contractual requirements, to protect the company’s legal position, and interact with Corporate Legal Counsel as required. You’ll have an onsite work schedule at our business unit, Genesys Aerosystems, located in Mineral Wells, TX. Genesys Aerosystems delivers customer-focused technologies and customized solutions for Special Mission, Military & Defense, Military Trainer, Business, and General Aviation industries. Day- To-Day Responsibilities • Support contracting activity by supporting business development, sales and other personnel with customer and supplier contracting activities • Export and compliance support • Administer contracts and related process requirements such as contract management, tracking, organizing, reviewing/proofing, and maintaining • Organize contract formation activities • Liaise with company personnel, customers and suppliers • Support the business’ export procedures and practices and administer the execution and requirements of existing export licenses • Liaise and represent the local business to the export / trade compliance group during guidance and licensing activities • Support compliance activities at the company such as audits Here’s What You’ll Bring With You… • BA Degree or a BS Degree in a related field and 5 years’ experience; or paralegal experience in lieu of degree; or equivalent combination of education and experience • Knowledge of defense industry sales techniques and government procurement regulations (FAR, DRARS and NASA FAR Supplements) and a general knowledge of manufacturing and engineering procedures • Familiarity with shipping and invoicing procedures • Ability to interpret from a technical, quality, and manufacturing perspective, formulate proposals, and function as Moog’s contractual representative in negotiations • Working knowledge of pricing and cost structuring, knowledge of contract interpretation, and a feel for technical issues • Must be a U.S citizen The role of the Contract Administrator is a challenging position for someone keen to ensuring the integrity of Moog’s contractual commitments. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees.
