POS-19265 Staff Data Analyst, Customer Success Strategy & Ops, Strategic Initiatives TeamRevenue OperationsRemote - USA HubSpot's Customer Success Strategy and Operations (CSSO) team is looking for a Staff Data Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be aligned to the Strategic Initiatives team. The Strategic Initiatives team supports HubSpot's business by working cross-functionally within and beyond Customer Success, optimizing for the customer experience through GTM readiness, strategic guidance, customer intelligence and connected execution of HubSpot's long-term, strategic goals. In this role you will: • Build and scale our CSSO data analytics practice to transform customer usage patterns and outcomes data into strategic insights that drive product and service improvements • Develop comprehensive analytics frameworks to guide Customer Success strategy and long-term initiatives, turning data into actionable recommendations for leadership • Design and implement performance measurement systems, including monthly business reviews, forecasting models, and success metrics • Lead complex analytical investigations to identify root causes of customer challenges and recommend actionable solutions that drive measurable business outcomes • Create scalable processes and systems that enhance team productivity and decision-making through data-driven insights You demonstrate: • A business mindset: you help your stakeholders define business problems and formulate hypotheses to guide work. You can influence an executive audience. • Strong collaboration skills: You're able to influence stakeholders across the organization, from discussing technical details with Analytics Engineers to connecting your findings to our business strategy with C-level executives. • Leadership through vulnerability: you put your ego to the side and can ask questions, challenge assumptions, and be willing to change directions when you're wrong. • An ability to thrive in a fast-paced working environment, can pivot and work autonomously and are excited about working in a learning and growth culture You have: • Academic or professional experience with a heavy quantitative, analytical focus • ~5 years minimum professional experience for most candidates. • Masters or PhD in quantitative field not required, but a good indicator • Track record of driving organization-wide impact in a business environment, influencing decision-making with data; ideally working with cross-functional, executive (C-level) stakeholders • Experience working with data end-to-end, from ingestion to data modeling to analytical deliveries • Experience with enterprise-scale analytics architectures built for a variety of applications (beyond SQL transformations/reporting, ideally Looker, HEX) • Ability to write performant, complex SQL queries combining multiple sources of data • Expertise with data analytics and statistical tools such as R or Python • Confidence with a variety of analytical and statistical techniques (e.g., regression analysis) • Excellent communication, storytelling, and collaboration skills • Demonstrated passion for teaching, mentoring, or developing teams - particularly without direct management Cash compensation range: 138500-221600 USD Annually This resource will help guide how we recommend thinking about the range you see. The cash compensation above includes base salary, on-target commission for employees in eligible roles, and annual bonus targets under HubSpot's bonus plan for eligible roles. In addition to cash compensation, some roles are eligible to participate in HubSpot's equity plan to receive restricted stock units (RSUs). Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay. Individual compensation packages are based on a few different factors unique to each candidate, including their skills, experience, qualifications and other job-related reasons.
