This role will be onsite in Colorado Springs, Colorado, 3 days a week. A Secret clearance is required. IBM is searching for a Systems Administrator (Senior) to support the United States Space Force (USSF)/Space Systems Command (SSC) Cyber Operations Branch for rapid agile development of defensive cyber solutions to protect, defend, and respond to both ground and space-based cyber adversarial threats. A successful candidate should be a leader and problem solver with a proven ability to deliver superior results as part of a high-performing team in a fast-paced environment. Your essential job functions will include but may not be limited to: supporting, designing, maintaining, and monitoring internal and external networks; implementing and managing all systems, applications, security, and network configurations; resolving network performance issues and establishing a disaster recovery plan; recommending upgrades, patches, and new applications and equipment; and providing technical support and guidance to users. This position will require privileged access and DODM 8570.01M restrictions will apply. Requirements • Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, data science, software development or STEM related specialty and 6 years' related professional experience; Or Master's degree in computer science, software engineering, data science, software development, or STEM related specialty and 4 years' related professional experience. , • Must have IAT Level I certification. , • DoD Secret clearance required. Nice-to-haves • Relevant DoD and/or Industry work experience in Space Systems Command. , • Experience with Cyber Operations Branch (SSC/SZYO) program office.
