Accounts Receivable Clerk

Description We are in search of an Accounts Receivable Clerk to add to our team based in Andrews, Texas. In this role, you will primarily focus on the management of customer credit records and applications, as well as addressing customer inquiries. You will also have the responsibility of following up on past-due accounts and ensuring the overall accuracy of our accounts receivable records. Responsibilities: • Accurately and efficiently handle customer credit applications. • Regularly update and manage customer files, including any changes in their details like name, address, or mailing attentions. • Generate invoices adhering to company practices and submit them to the customers. • Identify delinquent accounts by reviewing files and contact the account holders to request payment. • Conduct research on customer discrepancies and past-due amounts, working closely with other staff members. • Regularly collaborate with the Collections Manager to reconcile accounts receivable. • Retrieve, file, and copy materials related to accounts receivable as necessary. • Undertake any other duties related to accounts receivable as assigned. Requirements • Minimum of 1 year experience as an Accounts Receivable Clerk or in a similar role • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation and Accounts Receivable (AR) • Experience in Billing and Cash Applications • Demonstrated ability in Cash Collections • Knowledge of Commercial Collections • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
