HVAC Technician, Level III

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge in HVAC/R systems, including refrigeration and air conditioning, and will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems. This role requires strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to troubleshoot complex HVAC issues effectively. Duties • Install, maintain, and repair HVAC/R systems in residential and commercial settings. • Diagnose issues with heating and cooling systems using tools such as an ohmmeter and other diagnostic equipment. • Perform routine maintenance on HVAC equipment to ensure optimal performance. • Repair or replace defective components in HVAC systems, including compressors, motors, and thermostats. • Collaborate with property maintenance teams to ensure all HVAC systems are functioning efficiently. • Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their HVAC needs. • Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to HVAC systems. Requirements • Proven experience as an HVAC Technician with a strong background in refrigerate and air conditioning systems. • Proficient in equipment repair and appliance repair related to HVAC/R systems. • Solid understanding of plumbing as it relates to HVAC installations. • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues effectively. • Familiarity with local building codes and regulations regarding HVAC installations. • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. • Valid driver's license may be required for travel between job sites.
