Security Guard

Job Overview Attention all security guards in the region! We are seeking a dedicated Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for securing and monitoring the job site (i.e. gas station) and deter any unauthorized individuals. This opportunity provides a flexible work schedule and the possibility of overtime, when available. Applicants must be at least 18-years of age, reliable and willing to work on-site independently for prolonged periods of time. No prior experience required. Guard Card certification is required upon employment. To be considered for this position you must have a clean criminal background record, reliable transportation to get to the job site and a working cell phone for clocking in. ## Responsibilities - Patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish a security presence - Monitor and authorize entrance of approved vehicles or people in the property - Remove wrongdoers or trespassers from the area - Alert local law enforcement in the event of criminal activity such as theft, vandalism or contact with hostile individuals. ## Skills - Strong conflict management skills - Understanding of loss prevention techniques - Possession of relevant security certificates This position offers competitive pay and the opportunity to earn overtime pay when available.
