Surgical Critical Care Advanced Practitioner (NP/PA)

Job Description: SICU APP (NP/PA) - Lahey Hospital & Medical Center Burlington, MA About Us: • 24-bed Surgical ICU (Level 1 Trauma). • Nationally recognized 345-bed tertiary care hospital. • Collaborative team: 12 APPs, 14 Intensivists, Residents. • Diverse patient population: Trauma, Transplant, Neurosurgery, Vascular, Cardiac, Thoracic. Your Responsibilities: • Direct care of critically ill surgical patients. • Ventilator management, resuscitation, hemodynamic monitoring. • Mechanical circulatory support, vasopressor/inotrope use. • Invasive line placement (arterial, central). • Rotation between Surgical ICU and Cardiothoracic Surgical ICU. Qualifications: • 2+ years Critical Care, Emergency Medicine, or Cardiothoracic Surgery experience. • Critical Care Fellowship (preferred). • Must be able to work nights and weekends. • PA/NP MA license As a health care organization, we have a responsibility to do everything in our power to care for and protect our patients, our colleagues and our communities.
