Junior Application Developer

Description & Requirements We are seeking a passionate and motivated Junior Application Developer proficient in Java programming to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will assist in the design, development, and maintenance of Java-based applications while collaborating with a team of experienced developers and IT professionals. Maximus TCS (Technology and Consulting Services) Internal Job Profile Code: TCS194, T2, Band 5 Responsibilities: • Collaborate with senior developers and project managers to understand project requirements and objectives. • Develop and implement high-quality Java-based applications in accordance with established coding standards and best practices. • Assist in the design and architecture of software solutions, considering both functional and non-functional requirements. • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code while debugging and troubleshooting software issues as needed. • Conduct thorough testing and quality assurance of applications to ensure functionality, performance, and security. • Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and incorporate suggestions for improvements. • Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to enhance development processes and skills. • Document development activities, including code comments, technical specifications, and user guide. Pay Transparency Maximus compensation is based on various factors including but not limited to job location, a candidate's education, training, experience, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value analysis including seniority and merit systems, as well as internal pay alignment. Annual salary is just one component of Maximus's total compensation package. Other rewards may include short- and long-term incentives as well as program-specific awards.
