Position Summary A Brief Overview Prepares accounting and financial records and reports, including general ledger, financial statements, regulatory and management reports. Compiles data necessary to complete reports and maintains relevant records. What you will do • Enter monthly invoices, debit notes, and credit notes into accounting system • Process deposits against appropriate customers/accounts • Follow up on delinquent accounts and be accountable for open items • Work closely with AR and Claims Teams to successfully integrate and analyze all file feeds from claim systems to accounting system • Monthly general ledger account reconciliations • Coordinate accounting matters with other departments and locations • Research, analyze, and proactively seek solutions to existing/new processes • Other Duties and Responsibilities as assigned. • Claim setup, processing, tracking • Onboarding, maintenance, off boarding of groups • Quality Control & Internal Audit • Review invoices for reasonability and accuracy and make any necessary adjustments in the billing system • Identifying, investigating and resolving billing discrepancies related to product pricing, volumes, and account setup using various computer billing systems Complete projects distributed by management as needed Required Qualifications • 1+ years of accounting, reconciliation experience and/or banking experience • 1+ years of Microsoft Excel and Outlook experience • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Problem solving and teamwork skills Preferred Qualifications • Understanding of accounting concepts • AR or Billing experience a plus • Customer service experience a plus Education • Associates or higher degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or other closely related field. Anticipated Weekly Hours 40 Time Type Full time Pay Range The typical pay range for this role is: $18.50 - $35.29 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. Our people fuel our future.
