About the position As a Personal Lines Auto and Home Insurance Agent at The Hartford Insurance, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive insurance solutions to our clients. Your primary responsibility will be to evaluate risks and confidently ask for the sale while effectively overcoming objections. As a member of our sales team, you will have the opportunity to earn lucrative rewards, including monthly, quarterly, and annual pay-outs, along with sales incentives and contests. The average monthly earnings for our sales associates exceed $500, with top earners exceeding $2000. Training for this position will take place Monday through Friday from 9:30 am to 6:00 pm EST for the first 12 weeks of employment, during which time off will not be accommodated. Training will also include preparation and sponsorship for your Personal Lines insurance licensing exam if needed. After training, you will have the flexibility of a hybrid or remote work arrangement, depending on your location. Candidates living near our office locations in San Antonio, TX, or Hartford, CT, will be expected to work in the office Tuesday through Thursday, while those further away will work remotely with occasional office visits as business needs arise. Additionally, there is an opportunity for a shift differential for weekend hours and for those with Spanish-English bilingual skills post-certification. Responsibilities • Provide comprehensive insurance solutions for Personal Lines Auto and Home insurance. , • Evaluate risk and confidently ask for the sale while overcoming objections. , • Maintain all state licenses and terminate prior carrier relationships as applicable. , • Adapt and thrive in a fast-paced environment, handling 20-25 inbound calls per day. , • Work independently and collaboratively as part of a team. , • Ensure a distraction-free environment for customer interactions. Requirements • 2+ years of proven track record in sales. , • Comfort with negotiating and overcoming objections. , • Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced environment. , • Must obtain and maintain all state licenses. , • High-speed broadband internet service with specified minimum speeds. Nice-to-haves • Spanish-English bilingual skills post-certification.
