First Hawaiian Bank is currently seeking a customer-focused, detail-oriented, collaborative Commercial Banking Service Representative I to join our Commercial Banking Group team in Guam. In this role, you’ll be responsible to provide (directly and/or through Commercial Banking Officer) customer service, sales, and operational banking and lending support for commercial banking clients. Prepare various management reports and customer correspondence. The successful candidate will be hired for the level of the position that aligns with their experience. Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00AM to 5:00PM (hours may vary) The ideal candidate will have: • Associate’s degree in Business or related field; or equivalent experience in banking/financial services operations or consultative client services, requiring application of financial acumen, critical thinking and organizational skills required. • Basic understanding of financial products and services (or equivalent experience). • Basic understanding of accounting concepts. • PC skills using MS Office, including Outlook, Word and Excel. • Must be highly accurate, thorough, and capable of timely and efficient follow-up. • Able to prioritize among multiple time-sensitive tasks. • Possess organizational and creative problem-solving skills. • Possess oral, interpersonal, and written communication skills. • Able to follow through on servicing requests made by Commercial Banking Officers. • Must be team oriented.
