Responsibilities
Interns learn Gilbane's construction methods and practices throughwork assignments on a job site team, assisting project engineering, accounting and superintending staff with daily duties. - Manage project document flow - Take progress photos of jobsite - Review and approve submittals - Submit RFIs - Handle change management process - Participate in business unit office activities including orientation program, training sessions and peer group meetings
Qualifications
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION - Currently enrolled in Engineering, Construction Management or similar program - Prior exposure to construction industry is a plus - Or equivalent combination of education and experience KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES - Strong communication skills - Proficient in Microsoft Office For California the pay ranges from $20.80-$31.90 an hour. For Nevada, New York (Upstate) & Virginia (Northern) the pay ranges from $19.20 -$26.40 an hour. For Connecticut, Maryland, Minnesota, Rhode Island the pay ranges from $19.20- $28.60 an hour. For Illinois & Colorado the pay ranges from $17.60 -$25.85 an hour. For District of Columbia & Massachusetts the pay ranges from $20.80 -$28.60 an hour.
