ETF Trade Support Associate

About the position As an Exchange Traded Fund (ETF) Trade Support Associate within the Global Equities Operations Team at JPMorgan, you will play a crucial role in facilitating the front-to-back operations processing for the ETF trade lifecycle. This includes working closely with traders on booking and trade capture, overseeing trade settlement, and ensuring accurate processing of trading activities. Your responsibilities will involve collaborating with various infrastructure groups and managing order placement controls, while also addressing discrepancies and enhancing operational processes. Responsibilities • Support order placement for agency and principal create/redeem ETFs with Equity/FI/derivative/Crypto underliers. , • Complete intra-day / end of day processes including completeness controls and reconciliation investigation. , • Understand key elements of other infrastructure groups and collaborate with them regarding ETF Create/Redeem businesses. , • Responsible for order placement controls around bookings, trade lifecycle events, and payment infrastructure. , • Own the investigation of discrepancies and work with Technology, Reference Data, and Middle office counterparts to find resolutions. , • Facilitate client and cross-organizational communication, identifying real-time risk issues. , • Participate and contribute to various strategic initiatives, improving processes and business architecture. Requirements • Hold a bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics or similar. , • 2 years of experience in Finance Operations roles. , • Understanding of cash equities markets and basic understanding of ETF lifecycle. , • Proficiency in trade lifecycle management, including trade capture, settlement, and reconciliation. , • Ability to identify and mitigate operational and settlement risks associated with equity trading. , • Capability to troubleshoot and resolve trade-related issues efficiently under pressure. , • Strong focus on accuracy and precision in trade processing. , • Effective communication with traders and functional partners to ensure smooth trade processing and exceptions resolution. , • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple requests simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. , • Willingness to stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in trade support operations. , • Skilled in handling extensive datasets, particularly adept in utilizing advanced formulas and pivot tables.
