About the position The Cash Management Specialist at PeoplesBank is responsible for providing initial customer support to commercial and institutional clients regarding account opening, online banking, and electronic transaction processes. This role involves assisting the Cash Management department with proposal requests, risk reporting, agreement generation, and various administrative duties, ensuring compliance with bank regulations and policies. Responsibilities • Provides customer support to commercial and institutional clients. , • Answers customer questions regarding business products and services. , • Researches, troubleshoots, and resolves customer-related issues. , • Understands customer-facing systems and products to provide effective support. , • Assembles new account opening documentation according to bank regulations. , • Opens business and institutional deposit accounts in accordance with CIP procedures. , • Orders supplies for customers, including checks and deposit tickets. , • Mails appropriate disclosures to customers in accordance with policy and procedures. , • Establishes and updates digital files for Cash Management and Institutional banking customers. , • Verifies accuracy of departmental maintenance and Cash Management agreements. , • Prepares and verifies monthly Cash Management reports for management. , • Processes daily transactions including Wire Transfers, Remote Deposit, and ACH Origination. , • Performs various general administrative duties for Cash Management and Institutional officers. , • Assists with preparing responses to Requests for Proposals from clients. , • Completes all yearly compliance training and testing. Requirements • Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school. , • Six months to one year of related experience and/or training. , • One to three years of banking experience, preferably with business products/services. , • Strong written and verbal communication skills. , • Excellent organizational and time-management skills. , • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously under deadlines. , • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. , • Strong customer service skills.
