Member Experience Clerk – Costco Supply Chain

Costco Wholesale is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Member Experience Clerk to join our dynamic team within the Costco Supply Chain. As a Member Experience Clerk, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our members and internal teams receive excellent service and support. You will be the first point of contact for member inquiries, providing assistance in a fast-paced environment while ensuring efficient and effective service delivery. This role involves daily communication with members, vendors, and internal stakeholders, addressing inquiries related to the supply chain, inventory, and membership services. You will contribute to maintaining Costco high standards of service, ensuring a positive member experience that reflects the values of our company. Key Responsibilities • Provide exceptional service by addressing member inquiries via phone, email, and in-person. • Support the Costco Supply Chain team with order tracking, inventory management, and delivery coordination. • Assist in troubleshooting issues related to products, delivery status, and membership accounts. • Communicate effectively with vendors and internal teams to resolve problems promptly. • Maintain accurate records of member interactions, transactions, and requests. • Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate information flow to members and stakeholders. • Ensure adherence to Costco policies, procedures, and operational standards. • Participate in training and professional development to stay updated on new processes and technologies.

Qualifications

Required: • High School Diploma or equivalent. • 1-2 years of customer service or clerical experience, preferably in a supply chain or retail environment. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and basic computer skills. Preferred: • Associate or Bachelor degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. • Experience working with inventory management systems or customer service platforms. • Knowledge of Costco policies and procedures. • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
