Title: Operations Readiness Manager - LNG Project Petroplan is working exclusively with a global energy company to staff an exciting LNG production and export terminal mega-project. We are recruiting a top caliber Operations Readiness professional for a Operations Readiness Manager position, based in Houston who meets the following criteria. PurposeThis position is accountable for management and delivery of Operations readiness for opportunities or projects and safe start -up of the new facilityFor process owner, the position is the central focal point for the governance & assurance of Operations Readiness processThis position also acts as the Pre-Production Operations Manager for all new developments and projects until a designated Pre-ProductionOperations Manager is dedicated to the project. Responsibilities & Accountabilities HSEQ & Process SafetyEnsuring awareness and adherence to WEL and Projects HSE policies/values both within and outside the team.Demonstrating PSM leadership and ensuring compliance to Process Safety Management Procedure requirementsSupporting effective PSM implementation through inherently safe designLead risk identification and assessments to ensure conformance to the Process Safety Management LeadershipEstablishing Operations Readiness organisation and competent teamOperations Readiness leadership in projectResponsible for coordinating the resourcing (people) ExcellenceDeveloping integrated operations readiness delivery from Assess to Execute and handover to assetAssuring stakeholder on quality of Operations Readiness to start up and performance of new facilitiesEnsuring seamless integration and transition of new facility to existing facility Work Processes & Systems Developing and managing overall budget for Operations readinessDeveloping Operation Readiness execution plan and mandatory deliverables including OpexAccountable for the delivery of the Operations Readiness activities of Opportunities under Management.Ensuring effective handover acceptance and verification for start-upAccountable for planning and safe execution of safe upDemonstrating governance to stakeholders in Production.Collaborate with engineering to ensure Operations and Maintenance outcomes are an integral part of design decisions. Additional for process ownerAccountable for (owner of) the Operations Readiness process.Accountable for the review and revision of the Operations Readiness Process key supporting documentation including procedures, guidelines, catalogues, templates, and roadmaps.Accountable for the Operations Readiness (OPS) Peer Review functional (assurance) check process, including review participation.Responsible for management of global Operations readiness risksResponsible to providing supports for new opportunities, predominantly greenfield project/new countries and for M&A Skills & Experience15 years experience in the Oil & Gas industry, including onshore and offshore projects with experience encompassing handover, commissioning and start-up activitiesIn-depth knowledge of People, Safety, Environmental and Industry legislative requirementsKnowledge of Production Processes, Risk and Management of Change processes & systemsSkill in Process Safety Critical Role CompetencyAbility to drive and shape long term plant and business strategiesAbility to lead change and influence within a large organisationDemonstrate positive influence on team and organisationAbility to work across multi-disciplinary teams including contractorsClearly aligned to company, facility and management goals and objectivesUnderstanding of Operations.Tertiary Qualification or equivalent industry experience Apply Job!
