Our YouTube channel (launching soon) serves as an educational platform, breaking down complex financial topics in an easy-to-understand and engaging way. Role Overview As our YouTube Outline Writer/Researcher, you will be responsible for researching and outlining YouTube videos that align with our content strategy. This role does not require writing full scripts but rather creating structured outlines that make it easier for Bradley to record informative and engaging videos. Responsibilities •Research personal finance, investing, and retirement topics to ensure accuracy and depth. • Analyze high-performing competitor videos to identify successful content formats and messaging. • Develop clear, structured outlines for YouTube videos, including key talking points, data references, and suggested visuals. • Identify supporting research, statistics, and real-world examples to enhance content credibility. • Organize video content in a logical and engaging flow to maximize viewer retention. • Assemble slide decks for videos that require visuals. Qualifications • Strong knowledge of personal finance and investing concepts. • Experience in content writing, research, or video content planning. • Ability to distill complex financial topics into easy-to-understand talking points. • Familiarity with YouTube content strategies and audience engagement best practices. • Strong research skills, including sourcing reputable financial data and trends. • Excellent written communication and organization skills. Bonus Skills (Not Required, but Nice to Have) • Experience with financial writing, journalism, or content creation. • Familiarity with SEO principles and YouTube analytics. • Basic slide deck creation experience (PowerPoint, Google Slides, or Canva).
