Position Details: • Full-time (37.5 hours per week) • 2025-2026 school year • Caseload: 20-30 students, PreK-12 • Session durations: 30-75 minutes • Visually Impaired K-12 credential required • Starting at $40/hour Responsibilities: • Design and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for visually impaired students using adaptive teaching methods in a virtual environment. • Provide instruction in orientation and mobility and other adaptive skills via online platforms. • Collaborate with parents, educators, and a multidisciplinary team to meet each student’s unique visual needs. • Stay current with assistive technologies and integrate them into remote lessons. • Create an inclusive, supportive online learning environment for visually impaired students. Qualifications: • Experience teaching visually impaired students • Valid Pennsylvania teaching certificate and required educator clearances • In-depth knowledge of visual impairments and their impact on learning • Proficiency with Zoom and other online tools • Strong communication and interpersonal skills This is a contracted position, and interviews are being scheduled immediately.
