Strategy Director (Hong Kong based)

Role Overview

We are seeking a

Strategy Director to join Crypto.com, and play a critical role in helping us make important strategic decisions. The ideal candidate has 5-7 years of relevant work experience (e.g., from strategy consulting), has passion about crypto, and is a good people leader. This role is based in Hong Kong, but we are open to candidates from other locations who can accommodate Hong Kong working hours.

Responsibilities

Develop strategic plans that are data-driven and aligned with the company's goals across different verticals of the crypto industry and general fintech industry;

Work effectively with internal teams and external partners to implement strategic initiatives;

Recommend product pricing, such as fees to charge or rewards to offer, and monitor P&L to ensure we are building sustainably, or adjust our pricing strategy where applicable;

Perform data analysis on our user & products, identify trends or gaps, and recommend improvements;

Assist with strategic partnerships and investments as appropriate;

Manage or mentor junior members of the strategy team;

Be a role model of having a “founder’s mentality” with strong ownership.

Required qualifications

Bachelor's degree or above;

Based in Hong Kong or able to accommodate working hours of Hong Kong (GMT+8);

Strong interest in the blockchain/ crypto industry, with good knowledge of DeFi being a strong plus;

Prefer candidates with 5-7 years of work experience in a relevant industry (e.g., management consulting) and has managed teams;

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint;

(Plus but not required) Familiarity with Tableau, SQL and/or Python for data analysis.
