Pharmacist - Fully Remote (Prior Authorization)

Remote PharmacistClinical Review - 8am - 5pm CSTDescriptionYour main role will be utilizing your clinical skills to complete utilization management reviews (Prior authorizations, Coverage Exceptions, Quantity Limit exceptions, and more). You will complete these reviews independently amongst a team of your peers and other pharmacy professionals.Performance: Measured by monthly quality and productivity goals*All new pharmacists are considered as potential long-term employees with a hope to hire on as permanent employees in the futureQualifications• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or equivalent• Can reside and be licensed in ANY state except for California and Virginia• Current pharmacist license in good standing with the State Board of Pharmacy in the State where the candidate is licensed. Also provide transparency on any disciplinary action taken on license if applicable.Must Haves:Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Drive to deliver results orientation.A motivated self-starter who does not need constant direction or feedback to drive results.Ability to make clinical decisions independentlyFlexibility to change and resourcefulTechnology Requirements:• Proficient with learning new computer systems, basic IT trouble shooting and using multiple monitors• Word and Excel• Ability to type 35+ WPMAdditional Preferred Requirements:• Previous PBM or Case/Care Management experience. Retail experience (ex: CVS, Walgreens, etc.) highly preferred vs Hospital experiencePay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $55.00 - $55.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
