Controls Engineer (Walmart) - Technical Support (Remote/Night Shift)

We provide night-shift (12 hour 4 on/4 off) remote support to our valued Dematic Customers on production systems. Often times, we do travel for support and training purposes. The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $82,875 - $121,550 at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills. • Tasks and Qualifications: What will you do in this role: • Our team participates in the support of semi-complex systems that integrate hardware and software • Provides support in semi-complex material specification, schematic troubleshooting, and appropriate follow-up • Participates in recommending ideas related to efficiency improvement, cost reduction, and improvement in customer happiness • Provides troubleshooting expertise to Dematic's customers • Travel between 20-30% to different customer locations, which may include weekends and overtime What We are Looking For: • Bachelor's Degree • Experience with Dematic Walmart installs • Being willing to work nights and on-call coverage is a must! • We need you to have proven experience in a related field providing customer service support - customer happiness is key! • Experience with Allen Bradley Logix PLC controls platforms • Experience with controls hardware troubleshooting • Siemens and Modicon PLC experience a plus • Electrical troubleshooting experience • Strong customer service mentality • Ability to work in a team environment • Strong verbal communication skills over the phone • Ability to work independently #LI-DH1 #inpost Remote Skills: Allen-Bradley, Career Development, Communication Skills, Compensation and Benefits, Control Engineering, Cost Control, Customer Support/Service, Electricity, Hardware-Software Integration, Identify Issues, On Call, Presentation/Verbal Skills, Production Systems, Programmable Logic Controller (PLC), Schematics, System Integration (SI), Team Player, Technical Support, Telephone Skills About the Company: Dematic Corp.
