The Associate Software Development Engineer will participate as a member of the nexGen team helping to migrate ROSA clusters from Legacy environment to the nexGen environments. Help trouble shoot issues moving Gitlab repositories, CI/CD pipelines and Component applications for over 450 clusters (2100+ components) in AWS. Responsibilities • Kubernetes/ROSA and ROSA-AWS integrations. • Design and maintain standard templates, reference architectures, and design patterns to assist Platform/Cloud Engineers. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support on migration and modernization towards AWS cloud. • Create and maintain detailed system documentation, including configurations, procedures, and change management logs. • Implement cloud cost optimization strategies and monitor cloud usage to identify cost-saving opportunities. • Implement monitoring and alerting mechanisms to proactively resolve performance issues using tools like Grafana and Prometheus.
