Remote Specialist in Patient Scheduling - Healthcare | WFH

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Healthcare Patient Scheduling Specialist to join our remote team. This pivotal role requires a compassionate individual who is eager to enhance the patient experience and contribute significantly to our healthcare services. Key Responsibilities ? Manage inbound patient calls with a high degree of professionalism and empathy. ? Address and resolve concerns from dissatisfied patients, providing effective solutions. ? Initiate outbound calls to patients and healthcare providers to facilitate appointment scheduling and information collection. ? Collaborate with call center colleagues to enhance patient service continually. ? Efficiently triage calls, directing inquiries to the appropriate departments. ? Utilize knowledge of commercial health insurance and medical terminology to assist patients effectively. ? Uphold exceptional standards of customer service throughout all interactions. ? Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA protocols when handling sensitive information. Required Skills ? Minimum of one year of relevant experience in a healthcare or medical office setting. ? Familiarity with medical office procedures. ? Proficiency in MS Office, databases, and electronic health record (EHR) systems. ? Outstanding communication and customer service abilities. ? Strong computer literacy with excellent multitasking skills. ? Knowledge of various insurance types and their processes. ? Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail are essential. ? Experience with AthenaHealth systems is advantageous. Qualifications ? A high school diploma or equivalent is required. ? At least one year of experience in patient scheduling or a related field is necessary.

Compensation

And Benefits ? Competitive salary ranging from (21.00 to )30.00 per hour, plus commission. ? Full-time, remote position with flexible 8-hour shifts available. ?
