Emergency Medicine Physician Job with K Health in CA
About the role: Join K Health as we partner with the nations top rated hospital systems to close care gaps by launching completely Virtual Comprehensive Care Clinics. We are looking for full-time, Extended Care Clinicians who will deliver fully remote text and video based, on demand care encompassing acute care. You will be responsible for providing extended and after hours care to our patient population for ages three and up. You must be a board certified in Emergency Medicine or Family Medicine physician and have an active CA state medical license. Work from the comfort of your own home and deliver care to those who need it the most, backed by K Health's cutting edge Clinical AI Platform. Our virtual clinics are fully supported 24/7 by a dedicated team of Care Concierge, Clinical Operations, and technical support staff helping to greatly reduce your administrative burden. What you'll be doing: Provide text-based and video-based, comprehensive clinical care that encompasses Acute Care Treat patients on demand within an acute care virtual setting Educate patients on appropriate treatments and care plans for their health needs Prescribe medication and refills as appropriate Drive high quality care with a focus on patient outcomes Elevate remote care; provide compassionate and meaningful care What we're looking for: 3+ years of post residency work experience Active CA state medical license Board-Certified in Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Acute care experience Should be tech-savvy, proactive, organized, detail-oriented, and have telemedicine experience Clean background and medical malpractice history Willing to commit 40 (36 clinical) hours per week, including two weekend days a month 3x12 hour shifts overnight 7pm-7am PST Benefits & Perks: Malpractice insurance coverage Work from anywhere in the US 144 hours of PTO per year 2 Floating Holidays 5 Sick Days NetCE access Paid parental leave 401k benefit Competitive health, dental, and vision insurance options CME Allowance $1000 annually Apply Job!
