You will be trained to assist in multiple areas of customer service, including check-in, gates, luggage handling, and ticketing. This position offers variety and the opportunity to develop your skillset in a collaborative, customer-focused environment.

Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional customer service at every touchpoint, ensuring a seamless experience for passengers. Assist in various airport functions, including check-in, gate management, transfers, arrivals, luggage services, and ticketing. Take direction from team leaders and work flexibly across all areas of customer service. Perform administrative tasks such as pre-flight and post-flight departure duties. Maintain a professional appearance, adhering to uniform standards at all times. Promote and upsell American Airlines services and products. Attend all required training sessions, completing them within the specified timeframes. Follow safety protocols and contribute to safe working practices at all times. Represent American Airlines with professionalism and courtesy in all interactions with customers. Perform any other reasonable duties related to the role as required. Qualifications and Skills Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with customers and team members. Solution-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving abilities, even under pressure. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with minimal supervision. Strong customer focus and experience in face-to-face interactions with customers. Ability to represent American Airlines professionally, maintaining a well-groomed appearance and following uniform standards. Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends, holidays, and public holidays. Reliability and punctuality in meeting work requirements. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Valid BAA airside pass and GSAT training. A valid driver’s license from the DVLA and willingness to apply for a BAA driving license as required. Willingness to obtain and maintain a valid BAA jet bridge permit when necessary. Preferred Experience Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and email communication.
