About the position Aya Healthcare is seeking a dedicated MS/Tele Registered Nurse for a 13-week assignment in Winston Salem, NC. This role involves providing high-quality patient care in a telemetry setting, with a focus on cardiac monitoring and various nursing skills. Responsibilities • Provide patient care in a telemetry setting, monitoring cardiac patients. , • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed. , • Manage and care for patients with feeding tubes and hemodialysis needs. , • Perform phlebotomy and manage IV lines, including PICC lines and central lines. , • Interpret and respond to telemetry readings and ABGs. , • Assist in pre and post-operative care for neurosurgery and orthopedic procedures. , • Implement isolation precautions and wound care management. Requirements • Current BLS certification is required. , • At least one year of experience in a telemetry or medical-surgical nursing role is required. , • Proficient in telemetry monitoring and cardiac care. , • Experience with hemodialysis management and renal failure care. , • Skilled in phlebotomy and IV management, including starting IVs and managing central lines. Nice-to-haves • Experience with chemotherapy administration and monitoring. , • Knowledge of tracheostomy management and non-invasive airway management. , • Familiarity with surgical drains and chest tube management.
