About the position The Investment Banking Analyst Program - Full-Time Y1 - Capital Call Financing at Societe Generale is designed for individuals looking to kickstart their careers in corporate and investment banking. This program offers a permanent contract position based in New York, where analysts will play a crucial role in supporting the origination and execution of Capital Call financing facilities. Analysts will be involved in preparing client presentations and marketing materials, utilizing internal underwriting guidelines to produce credit applications, and conducting due diligence on existing and prospective transaction opportunities. In this role, analysts will support senior team members in structuring and executing Capital Call financing facilities, which includes collaborating with internal and external legal counsel on transaction documentation and coordinating the execution process with various internal stakeholders. Additionally, analysts will manage internal databases and work on ad hoc projects, ensuring efficient and timely management of annual credit reviews and monitoring the credit performance of existing transactions alongside relevant industry trends. Responsibilities • Support the origination and execution of Capital Call financing facilities , • Prepare client presentations and other marketing material , • Utilize internal underwriting guidelines and transaction deal terms to produce internal credit applications , • Conduct client due diligence of existing and prospective transaction opportunities , • Support senior team members in the structuring and execution of Capital Call financing facilities , • Work with internal and external legal counsel on transaction documentation and coordinate the execution process with internal constituents , • Manage internal databases and work on ad hoc projects , • Work with the Capital Call Portfolio Manager to ensure efficient and timely management of annual credit reviews and monitoring of credit performance of existing transactions Requirements • BA or BS degree required; concentration in Economics, Finance, Business, Math, or Computer Science is preferred but not required , • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, with high technical proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint , • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills , • High attention to detail , • Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment , • Ability to collaborate with team members and work across the firm to ensure product is delivered to client , • 0-1 years of relevant investment banking work experience (e.g., in Capital Call Financing or Fund Financing) and/or a demonstrated interest in the field , • A plus but not required: Series 7/79 and Series 63 certifications; must complete these exams within 5-months of hire if not already registered Nice-to-haves
