IT Systems Analyst - EpicCare AMB, Community Connect Team (remote)

About the position The IT Systems Analyst - EpicCare AMB position at Sentara Healthcare is a full-time remote role focused on supporting and optimizing EpicCare Ambulatory applications for non-Sentara owned physician practices. The analyst will be responsible for application builds, upgrades, and enhancements, as well as providing day-to-day support and problem resolution. This role requires a self-motivated individual with strong analytical skills and the ability to work independently in a remote environment. Responsibilities • Support and optimize EpicCare Ambulatory applications for non-Sentara owned physician practices. , • Perform and document workflow assessments to determine functional requirements for optimal application utilization. , • Develop system test plans and conduct testing of software upgrades and patches. , • Provide daily on-call support for application-related issues. , • Analyze business and clinical needs, evaluate software releases, and recommend process optimizations. , • Oversee smaller-sized projects or components of projects related to software application releases. , • Coordinate implementation or project planning around software application releases and third-party integrations. Requirements • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in lieu of a degree. , • 3 years of relevant experience with a degree or 5+ years of relevant experience without a degree. , • Current EpicCare Ambulatory application certification is required. , • Helpful but not required to have current Epic Prelude application certification.
