Mobile App Testing: QA Manual Tester Urgently Needed

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced QA Tester to ensure the quality and functionality of our mobile applications on both iOS and Android platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for app testing, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with developers. This role involves manual testing on multiple devices, creating test plans, identifying and documenting issues, and recommending fixes in line with best practices and platform-specific policies. Responsibilities: • Manual Testing: o Perform detailed manual QA testing of our app across multiple devices, including: ? iPhone (small and large screens) ? iPad ? Samsung (small and large screens) ? Google Pixel devices • Test Planning: o Create comprehensive test plans and execute test cases effectively. • Issue Reporting: o Identify and report issues with detailed descriptions, links, screenshots, and improvement suggestions. o Communicate recommended fixes to developers, adhering to best practices and industry standards. • Platform-Specific Feedback: o Conduct an in-depth review of the iOS app (currently available on the App Store) and provide detailed feedback, capturing action items and steps to address any errors or bugs, along with constructive criticism. o Review the Android app (pending Google approval) and offer actionable insights to resolve errors and improve user experience. • Recommendations and Compliance: o Outline recommendations for resolving issues based on Apple and Google policies, industry standards, and common user expectations. • Testing Techniques: o Perform various testing techniques including: ? Regression Testing ? Smoke QA Testing ? A/B Testing ? Functional Testing ? UI Testing • API Testing: o Conduct thorough API testing to ensure seamless functionality. • User Experience Assurance: o Ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for users while interacting with the platform. Requirements • Proven experience in QA testing for mobile applications. • Familiarity with Apple and Google app guidelines. • Proficiency in writing detailed test plans and executing test cases. • Strong ability to identify, document, and communicate issues clearly. • Hands-on experience with various testing methodologies. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. • Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with developers and stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications • Experience with automated testing tools is a plus. • Familiarity with Agile development processes. • Prior experience in API testing.
