Vascular Quality Initiative (VQI) Registry Data Abstractor

The Vascular Quality Initiative (VQI) Clinical Data Abstractor is responsible for the review and detailed abstraction of the VQI registry. Additionally, the VQI Clinical Data Abstractor is responsible for following the guidelines published in the project parameters/roadmap document, Validation Policy and Procedure and working within the established productivity guidelines for each assigned project and case type. The VQI Clinical Data Abstractor is accountable for their committed work hours for each project assignment and assists the management team with meeting the goals and deadlines for each assigned project. The VQI Clinical Data Abstractor is detail oriented, committed to high quality data abstraction, meets both quality and productivity standards, functions well independently, and works well under time constraints to ensure deadlines are met. Requirements and Experience: • Minimum of one-year current abstraction experience in the VQI Registry (Society for Vascular Surgery Vascular Quality Initiative), of following registry subsets, required: • Carotid Endarterectomy (CEA) • Carotid Artery Stenting (CAS) • Open AAA Repair • Endovascular AAA Repair • TEVAR and Complex EVAR • Peripheral Vascular Intervention (PVI) • Proficient in industry related clinical registry data abstraction specifications manuals, data abstraction software systems and electronic medical record applications • Strong attention to detail. • Ability to work independently. • Excellent communication and documentation skills. • Proficient in Microsoft Office and/or Google products • Exposure to quality improvement concepts and processes, preferred. • RN, RHIA/ RHIT, CPHQ, preferred Compensation/Benefits All team members are employees of Registry Partners, Inc., not contractors.
