Responsibilities • Provide appropriate medical advice over the phone to patients according to treatment plans. , • Recognize when treatment for a patient should be escalated to a provider. , • Deliver excellent customer service to patients and their families. , • Maintain a patient-focused mindset and ensure comfort during treatment. , • Stay current with oncology and hematology treatments and regimens. , • Navigate Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems effectively. , • Communicate respectfully and in a timely manner with team members. , • Assist with additional tasks as needed. Requirements • Professional nursing degree required; BSN preferred. , • Tennessee State Nursing licensure required. , • Current BLS certification required upon hire. , • At least one year of prior oncology nursing experience.
