Here is the Position Detail’s:- Job Title : Technical Professional - Senior Payroll Specialist Location : Bartlesville, Oklahoma 74006 Duration : 6 Months Contract with possible Extension Location : Fully Remote Pay : $50-$55 hr ($104K - $114 annually) Duration : Temp to Perm Job Description : Job Title: Technical Professional - Senior Payroll Specialist • Payroll specialist will be responsible for 2 Bi-weekly exempt Payroll (180 workers) and 1 weekly non-exempt payroll (60 workers). • Candidate must be able to understand US and Canada legislation regarding wage and tax law and fully calculate payroll independently. • Will be a part of a global team supporting more than 70 countries and the team needs someone who can step in and be hands on with the work. • Must have a minimum of 7 years of experience and comfortable working with an international team and hours. The European team will be able to support but the time zone is an issue. Candidates on the east coast time zones would be best. • Candidates must be fluent in excel (V-Lookups, Formulas) Candidates who can complete Excel testing will be considered first. • Timesheets are automated, and candidates must be able to extract the date and process the time. • Must have good communication and organization skills and be comfortable communicating with ABB HRBPs to resolve any issues. • Must be able to write S.O.P if needed. • Payroll issues are entered as service tickets. Candidates must be able to investigate past SharePoint and Jira tickets to find solutions to common issues. • There will be training provided, and it is important that the candidate catches on quickly to start making an impact. • ABB would like to find an SME for workers’ rights, regulations, and legislation. • Interviews will be 1 round with a 3-person panel typically before 10 am to accommodate overseas managers. • The best Candidates will come from start up or tech sector. Job Summary: Prepare and pay wages and salaries and maintain related records in SAP. Execute accurate service processes related to Payroll services for an assigned group of employees, for one or several assigned countries. Ensure appropriate support for internal customers and oversee accurate and timely processing of information with all stakeholders. Main Accountabilities: • Process payroll and associated maintenance for respective employees, ensuring the accurate and timely preparation and distribution of salaries and wages • Process all new starters, terminations, master file changes • Manage time attendance system • Maintain pay records, associated time keeping data and statistics, leave records and related information • Maintain award data and ensure payments comply with awards, arbitrated decisions and consent agreements • Prepare information and documents for external authorities • Establish positive internal working relationships and provide fast and efficient customer service to all employees in relation to payroll related queries. • Ensure execution and delivery according to defined Service Level Agreement(s) • Recommend enhancements and simplification of existing processes and procedures based on experience with customers • Communicate comprehensive and adequate knowledge of policies and standards on assigned processes as needed • Ensure compliance with Group and external regulatory requirements Required knowledge & skills: • 7+ years’ experience of payroll administration within a global organization with a large employee population • Solid understanding of all functions related to payroll • Sound knowledge of computerized pay systems, ideally SAP and general personnel procedures • Ability to collaborate within the broader business at a senior level • Ability to manage multiple demands and prioritize effectively and work with cross-functional teams • A collaborative, solutions-oriented approach with high attention to detail • Proactive self-starter with the ability to manage competing priorities and work under pressure, with a ‘can-do’ attitude • Fluent English language skills Company DescriptionSelect Source International (SSI) is an IT, Health Care, and Engineering Services consulting firm that has been in business since 1998.
