Detection & Investigation Quality Lead

About the position The Detection & Investigation Quality Lead at PNC plays a crucial role in the Independent Risk Management organization by conducting quality analysis of complex investigations. This position is responsible for ensuring that investigations are thorough, accurate, and compliant with internal policies and external regulations. The lead will coach and mentor investigative staff, identify systemic issues, and drive continuous improvement projects to enhance the quality of investigations. Responsibilities • Conduct quality analysis of complex investigations performed by senior staff. , • Review high-impact investigations to ensure appropriate decision-making and documentation. , • Ensure narratives are complete, accurate, and comply with guidance and policies. , • Apply subject matter knowledge to vet case decisions and resolve discrepancies. , • Maintain strong quality control protocols and improve incoming quality. , • Coach and mentor analysts on indicators of typologies and emerging threats. , • Identify and analyze complex factors related to risk mitigation and protection. , • Facilitate root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for systemic issues. , • Elevate high-profile cases to management for visibility of potential risks. , • Drive continuous improvement projects. Requirements • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field. , • 3+ years of relevant industry experience. , • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills. , • Knowledge of anti-money laundering and sanctions policies. , • Experience in fraud detection and prevention.
