Job Type Part-time Description Position Title: Adjunct Faculty - Enlisted College Distance Education Program (ECDEP) Requisition#: 29 Location: CDET Regional campuses (MCB Quantico VA; MCB Camp Lejeune NC; NAS-JRB Fort Worth TX; MCB Camp Pendleton CA; MCAS Miramar CA; MCB Hawaii; MCB Camp Butler Okinawa Japan) Davis Defense Group (DDG), a very successful Women Owned Small Business (WOSB), continuously screens for Adjunct Faculty to support the Enlisted College Distance Education Program (ECDEP). Functional Description : The candidate will coordinate with a DDG Regional Chief Instructor to provide instructional services for the ECDEP seminars. The candidate must possess the requisite skills, experience, and abilities to lead discussions, grade seminar contributions and papers, and mentor U.S. Marines enrolled in the ECDEP seminars. Faculty support three ECDEP seminar programs - Sergeant's School Seminar Program (SSSP, 5500); Career School Seminar Program (CSSP, 6500); and Advance School Seminar Program (ASSP, 7500). All three programs are 15 weeks long and offered three times a year in onsite, online (synchronous) and online (asynchronous) formats. Mandatory Faculty Qualifications : • 5500 - Sergeant's School Seminar Program o Staff sergeant or above. o PME complete for rank or grade. • 6500 - Career School Seminar Program o Gunnery sergeant or above. o PME complete for rank or grade. • 7500 - Advanced School Seminar Program o Gunnery sergeant or above. o PME complete for rank or grade. Desired Faculty Qualifications - All Programs : • Associate or bachelor's degree from an accredited college. • Graduate of a CDET PME seminar program. • Socratic teaching experience. • Experience with Learning Support Systems (LSS) (e.g., Moodle).
