Responsibilities and Expectations Qualitative Services Team • Adhere to CMB's defined approaches, processes and best practices • Contribute to marketing CMB by writing a blog annually • Take advantage of training and development opportunities • Contributes to a team and/or committee for ongoing CMB initiatives • Ensure end-to-end client/project delivery in alignment with Sales & Account Management leading to high client satisfaction with project deliverables Essential Duties • Establishes and nurtures consultative relationships with existing clients, vendors, moderators, peers, senior staff, and other teams • Demonstrates confidence in client interactions and communications • Owns discussion guide writing, moderating interviews, analysis and reporting • Leads analysis of results and develops engaging, insightful, creative, and customized deliverables and presents to the client • Oversees creation of the screener and recruiting management as needed • Partners in the proposal development process (e.g., schedule, pricing, methodology) • Effectively communicates with other project team members and external resources • Stays abreast of industry trends, seeks out and brings new techniques and willing to apply them to projects as appropriate • Anticipates and identifies project problems and finds solutions independently • Presents a CMB University case study annually • Participates in peer reviews in a timely manner Qualifications • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Market-Research, Anthropology, Behavioral Psychology or related field • Minimum of 5 years work experience in qualitative market research • Minimum of 3 years of experience independently managing moderating duties • Is RIVA trained or willing to participate within first 6 months on the job • Proficient and demonstrated skills in in-person, telephone, online moderating with individuals and groups • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to synthesize findings from disparate sources • Excellent at establishing and managing relationships with clients, vendors and coworkers • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines with limited supervision • Excellent at establishing and managing relationships with clients, vendors and coworkers • Is detail-oriented and can work on multiple projects at a time • Skilled in Microsoft Office software environment • Sense of humor and self-aware Travel • 20% - 40% travel • No agency assistance required • No visa sponsorship is available for this position.
