Project Leader for Healthcare Revenue Systems (Consultant, Remote) Are you an experienced project leader in healthcare revenue systems and ready to take on a transformative challenge? Our client, a prominent healthcare provider, is seeking a Project Leader Consultant (Remote, Contract) to spearhead the implementation of healthcare revenue systems. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge in healthcare revenue cycle management as well as hands-on experience leading end-to-end revenue system implementation projects. This role is crucial in driving successful implementations and optimizing revenue cycle processes to enhance financial performance and operational efficiency. In this role, you will define technical requirements, create workflows and lead resources that align with the revenue system implementation objectives. Type: Contract, Remote Start: December 2024 Position Description: • Project lead the full-cycle implementation of clinical revenue systems (Cerner, Epic, Med-Metrix or similar platforms). This involves project planning, design, testing and go-live. • Work with inter-department stakeholders across finance, IT, clinical operations, and external vendors to ensure alignment and successful project delivery. • Create and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, risk assessments, and status reports, ensuring project objectives stay on track and within scope and budget. • Lead the integration and configuration of revenue cycle modules, including patient accounting, billing, collections, and reporting tools. • Facilitate on-going meetings with cross-functional teams to provide clear communication and resolve project issues promptly. • Lead system testing, user training, and post-implementation support to ensure a smooth transition and high user adoption. • Analyze system performance and recommend process improvements to optimize clinical revenue cycle operations. • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, data privacy standards, and internal policies throughout the project lifecycle. • Track and report project resource utilization. Requirements: • Proven successful project management experience for clinical revenue cycle system implementations. • Experience implementing systems such as Epic, Cerner, Med-Metrix, McKesson or similar platforms. • Expertise in revenue cycle processes, including patient registration, scheduling, coding, billing and collections. • Exceptional communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills. • Solid analytical abilities, with experience in process improvement initiatives. • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. • Project Management certification is preferred. • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Jira) and familiarity with data analysis/reporting tools. • Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, Information Systems or related field (Master s preferred).
