WordPress Developer (Remote - India)

We are looking for a WordPress Developer with experience (or strong knowledge) in Headless WordPress development using GraphQL. In this fully remote role, you will collaborate with our development and support teams to manage and enhance our Headless Blog and Knowledge Base. You’ll be involved in plugin development, troubleshooting WordPress issues, and ensuring smooth CMS-to-frontend integration. Please note that while this position is being posted by RunCloud (Malaysia), the role is under the payroll of our Indian counterpart, Etica Studio. Location Remote (Work from anywhere in India) Responsibilities • Develop and maintain Headless WordPress sites using GraphQL as CMS. • Troubleshoot and resolve WordPress-related issues, including plugin and theme conflicts. • Collaborate with the support team to assist in resolving WordPress-related technical issues. • Work with the development team to implement new features and improve the Headless Blog and KB. • Build and maintain custom WordPress plugins while ensuring high code quality. • Optimize WordPress performance, scalability, and security. • Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams. Requirements • Experience in (or strong understanding of) Headless WordPress development using GraphQL. • Strong skills in WordPress plugin development and troubleshooting. • Proficiency in PHP, WordPress REST API, and WPGraphQL. • Familiarity with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and modern frontend frameworks. • Familiar or have knowledge of Laravel is a bonus • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment. • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
