Senior Customer Service Representative- Remote in IL

This position is full time (40 hours/week) Monday - Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 7:30 am - 4:00 pm CST. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime. We offer 2 days of training. The hours during training will be 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, Monday - Friday. Training will be onsite in Schaumburg, IL If you are located in the state of Illinois, you will have the flexibility to work remotely* as you take on some tough challenges. Primary Responsibilities: • Interact with customers to gather support data to ensure invoice accuracy and also work through specific billing discrepancies • Provide input to policies, systems, methods and procedures for the effective management and control of the premium billing function • Educate customers regarding the availability of receiving invoices and remitting payments through online applications • Monitor outstanding balances and take appropriate actions to ensure clients pay as billed • Manage the preparation of invoices and complete reconciliation of billing with accounts receivables You'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in. Required Qualifications: • High School Diploma / GED • Must 18 years or older • Familiarity with computer and Windows PC applications, which includes the ability to learn new and complex computer system applications • Ability to train onsite for the first two days in Schaumburg, IL. • Ability to work Monday- Friday, 07:30AM - 04:00PM CST Preferred Qualifications: • 1+ years Customer Service Representative (CSR) experience OR 1+ years of experience in an office setting, call center setting or phone support role Telecommuting Requirements: • Reside within the state of Illinois • Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable) • Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy. • Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service.
