Job Description: Drivers wanted for Meijers Grocery Store Chain dedicated job running both reefer and dry freight. This job is a local Home Daily Class A CDL Job and you will haul NO TOUCH freight. Top drivers are averaging almost $1500 a week with full benefits. (Average pay is between $1100 to $1400) This account delivers dry and refrigerated groceries to Meijer stores in OH, KY, and IN Please be aware that drivers work nights and weekends. Mostly refrigerated trailers will be utilized. Typically a 5 day work week, with 2 days off. *Note: Off days are based on availability with no guaranteed weekend spots. Like most locals this is a slip seat operation. Unlike most locals this is a NO TOUCH job! Hazmat is required, however we will take some drivers without it with the understanding they have 90 days to get it. If you don't want to get hazmat, then please don't apply for this job. Local drivers typically run multiple routes per day and may require a 10 hour break on the road on more than one occasion per work week per week. The operation runs 24/7, will include driving at night, weekends, and holiday. Drivers run roughly between 1500-2200 miles per week 300-500 per day Local drivers will slip seat tractors that include both day cabs and sleepers.
