Controller Healthcare Industry (Project based Remote)

We are seeking talent to work on upcoming projects in the healthcare space in Controller- CFO type functionalities. Work is mostly remote with potential requirements to travel to a client on-site. Job Function may Include: • Planning, executing, and maintaining core accounting and financial reporting responsibilities. • Ensuring compliance with GAAP and SEC requirements. • Financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting. • Cash, cost, and revenue cycle management. • Implementing internal controls and accounting best practices. • Identification and implementation of business process improvements. • Perform internal control and risk assessments. • Facilitation of internal and client meetings. Requirements: • Healthcare, Home Health, or Hospital industry experience required including healthcare specific accounting practices. • Bachelor’s degree in business administration with a major in accounting. Graduate degree preferred. • CPA certification preferred. • 7 plus years of experience in public accounting, auditing, or accounting in public/private corporations. • 3-5 years’ experience working as a Director of Accounting, Controller or CFO. • Experience working at a Big 4/ nationally recognized CPA firm, or in advisory accounting services is preferred. • Deep understanding of healthcare revenue cycle. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify financial risks and opportunities, and provide recommendations for improvement. • Proficiency in financial management software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills. • EHR and medical billing software experience. • Superior written and verbal communication skills. • Passion and commitment to providing quality client services.
