As a designer you should be able to visualize the designing language across broadcast graphics, digital graphics and studio designs. Context: Star Sports is a key catalyst in driving a multisport culture in India. Over the past 5 years we have invested in and partnered with key stakeholders to popularize sports beyond Cricket. We serve high quality content to millions of customers daily across millions of devices, all of which are constantly evolving and changing. Sports is a primary pillar for the network. From the dominating world of Cricket, the focus now is to grow and develop other sporting properties such as PKL, Wimbledon, and English Premier League. The successful applicant will play an integral role in working closely with the design and content team to translate creative brief into visual design language. Key Responsibilities:
- Conceptualize and design the packaging for shows and events as per brief from the Producers. Ensuring that all graphic content adheres to the Star Sports brand guidelines.
- The incumbent should be able to translate the brief to design language by creating graphics for live sports broadcasts, including scoreboards, statistics, player profiles, and animations.
- Manage day to day graphics requirement.
- Follow up with all external and internal partners to make sure timely delivery of graphics.
- Support Online and studios design functions.
- Keep up to date with latest design trends.
Performance Measures:
- Deliver end to end business operations with high ownership and detailed orientation.
- Timely delivery of Creatives
- Quality of the design and motion graphics
- Collaboration within team and with external partners
- Contribution within team
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in motion design, graduation from Design school is a plus
- Strong background in visual design
- Strong technical background in software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, After effects, Cinema 4d,
- 2d and 3d animations
- Knowledge of Unreal and virtual production will be an added advantage
- Multitasking and ability to work under tight timelines is a must
