Skills • Strong organizational skills • Proven ability to work well independently or as a self-starter • Excellent oral/written communication and presentation skills • Good collaboration and integration skills • Experience writing for a variety of communication types (articles, emails, social copy, etc.) • Well-versed in proper grammar and punctuation • Willingness to learn new software applications • Proven proficiency in Microsoft Office, with the capability to develop PowerPoint or Keynote presentations • Ability to work under tight deadlines while managing multiple priorities Responsibilities • Contribute to the development of communication strategies that protect and augment the reputation of Disney Experiences • Draft communication plans and implement tactical plans • Write articles and produce content for internal and external communications vehicles, including employee newsletters and social media posts • Assist with global and targeted email distribution • Contribute to global campaigns such as Recognition Week and Legacy Awards • Help develop strategic visuals across various mediums, including infographics and short-form videos Qualifications • Must be currently pursuing or have recently completed a bachelor’s degree, preferably in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Digital Media, or a related field • Be enrolled in an accredited college/university taking at least one class in the semester prior to the internship OR have graduated within 6 months of application posting OR currently participating in a Disney College Program Education Requirements • Must be currently pursuing, or have recently completed, a bachelor’s degree in a related field Education Requirements Credential Category • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Digital Media, or related field Experience Requirements • Must have relevant experience in a communications-related role or coursework that supports the required skills.
