Marketing Assistant, Hybrid-Remote

At STH, we're expanding our team and seeking a dynamic, part-time (20-25hrs per week) marketing assistant to join us in a hybrid-remote capacity. This role will collaborate closely with our Marketing Specialist and Events Coordinator to support various marketing initiatives. As our marketing assistant, you'll... be a crucial piece in collaborating on organizing events, executing marketing campaigns, handling administrative duties, contributing to creative content creation, and pursuing continuous professional growth to grow your career and stay up-to-date with the newest industry marketing trends. Job Responsibilities • Remote Event Management: Assist in planning, coordinating, and providing admin support for events. Liaise with vendors, manage logistics, and oversee post-event follow-up activities to ensure seamless execution. • Marketing Campaigns: Support the creation of marketing content, conduct market research to identify trends, analyze competitor activities, and understand customer preferences. • Administrative Support: Organize and maintain marketing documents, coordinate team logistics, and assist in tracking budgets for cost-effective operations. Support and assist the marketing specialist, and overarching team with any administrative needs. • Creative Support: Collaborate in the creation of visual content that adheres to brand guidelines and maintains a consistent voice. Ability to learn and help develop our social media platforms and continue to monitor and update as needed. • Professional Development: Stay updated on the latest marketing trends, contribute fresh ideas, and participate in training and workshops to enhance skills and knowledge. • Coordinate Team Merchandise Procurement and Distribution: Manage and coordinate apparel orders for team members, ensuring timely processing, accurate sizing, and delivery in line with company branding standards. • Previous experience: Demonstrated previous knowledge supporting a team with administrative tasks. • Attention to Detail: Demonstrated ability to ensure accuracy and consistency in all marketing materials. • Copywriting Skills: Experience crafting engaging and persuasive content for various marketing channels. • Organizational Skills: Proven ability to efficiently manage multiple tasks and projects, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results. Preferred Qualifications • Furthering Education: Willingness to learn and or proceeding with advancement of education in a marketing degree program. • SEO Knowledge: Understanding of SEO best practices to optimize content for search engines. • Email Marketing Experience: Familiarity with creating and managing email marketing campaigns. • Market Research Experience: Ability to conduct thorough research to inform marketing strategies and content creation.
