What You Will Do
As a Design Intern, you'll work with teams and projects based in California. This internship provides exposure to Disneys design innovation process. You'll collaborate with our design team and leadership to support efforts for Hulu & Disney+, as well as some of the worlds most beloved brands including ABC, ABC News, Disney, ESPN, Freeform, FX, Marvel, National Geographic, and Star Wars. Collaborate on one or more projects, receiving mentorship from our design team, and presenting your work to the broader team. Participate in team meetings, design reviews, and one-on-one discussions with various team members. Present innovative ideas for any of the digital products we support. Assist the design team with daily design tasks and deliverables. Qualifications & Skills Strong proficiency with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, and Adobe Creative Suite. Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and industry best practices. Self-driven problem solver with excellent communication skills. Strong work ethic, dependable, adaptable, and collaborative. Eagerness to learn new technologies and design skills. Analytical thinker with data-driven decision-making abilities. Preferred Qualifications
Experience designing user experiences and flows across apps and websites. Ability to design within brand guidelines and contribute to design language development. Education Currently enrolled as an undergraduate student at an accredited college/university, pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, Information Architecture, or a related field, and returning to school after the internship.
