Part-Time Customer Service and Administrative Assistant (Fully Remote)

We are seeking a dynamic and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a remote Part-Time Customer Service and Admin Contractor focused on assisting tax clients. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our clients, addressing their inquiries, and ensuring their needs are met promptly and accurately. This position offers flexibility in... scheduling and provides an excellent opportunity to gain experience in the tax and financial services industry. No previous tax experience required we'll provide training. Responsibilities Handle inbound and outbound calls to assist clients with inquiries and complaints via phone, email, and text. Perform data entry tasks to update customer information in the system. Notate each interaction with client, add files to client portal, prepare forms. Help resolve client issues in a timely manner with patience and professionalism. Work with colleagues to ensure top-notch customer service Qualifications: Must be very good with computers, efficient with Windows, Microsoft Suite (particularly Outlook), Adobe or other pdf-related software and file management.
Selected candidates must pass a Computer Proficient Test
Customer Service Experience. Tax Experience Preferred but not required. Performs well under pressure - Able to work in a fast-paced environment with high customer inventories while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills with a friendly and positive attitude. Solution oriented, able to problem solve effectively. Organized and good at prioritizing important tasks. Self-motivated with an ability to work independently, yet be a great team player. Must be willing to learn, good at retaining information and implementing new ideas and suggestions. Paid Training 1 week of training will be provided at $15 per hour for 4 hours per day Monday through Friday. Pay increases to $17 per hour after training. Schedule Part-time with flexible hours, 20 hours per week min. Max 35 hours.
